Timecard Cloning

PickTrace now allows you to quickly and easily clone timecards! This is helpful for when there is an existing timecard whose information you need to apply to other employees. 

Note: This is possible only in our new, Beta UI. If you do not have access to the Beta, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

Previously, users had to manually recreate timecards, even if every part of that timecard was exactly as desired. This was time consuming and frustrating, which is why we've introduced Timecard Cloning. 

To utilize this feature, hover over a timecard and right click

You will see a new option called "Clone Timecards." After selecting this option, a flyout will appear on the right;

Under the second Employees dropdown, select as many employees as you want; all of these employees will be inheriting this cloned timecard. In the example below, we are cloning Kayla's timecard onto Alberto. 

After clicking "Update," a prompt will appear allowing you to deal with any Timecard Conflicts that may exist by adding this new timecard to the employee. 

After clicking Save, you'll see that a timecard now exists for the employee(s) of your choice that matches the original timecard that you cloned.
