Reports

Reports can be defined as aggregated, manipulated and formatted data on the server that can be downloaded as a CSV or Excel file. They are extremely useful and can cover very different goals. There are reports for payroll, for creating breaks and lunches, tracking crop averages, and more. A list of reports available is accessible by pressing the Reports button in the Main menu. The user then sees the following list of reports;

1. Search Engine:

If you already know the report you’re looking for, you can search for its name and then press enter to filter for reports containing only that name.


2. Manage Buttons:

a. If you have applied a filter, selecting this button will remove that filter and display the full list.

b. This button lets the user decide how many reports will show in the list of reports. If the user has more than 10 reports, the first 10 in the list will be displayed on page 1.  You can display up to 500 reports in one page.

c. As seen in the image above, the reports list has six columns: Id, Report Name, Version, Created on, Last edited and Download. The user can hide or display any of these.


3. Column names:

  • Id.- Assigned number to the report. This number is assigned by the order the report was added to the server.
  • Report Name - The name of the report. It is used to explain what the report about.
  • Version - This is to keep track of how many updates there have been for the report.
  • Created on - The date when the report was created.
  • Last Edited - The date when the report was last edited.
  • Action - This is the button to download the report.

4. Expand Button:

When clicking this button the user will see an area opened under the report name where it explains in detail the purpose of the report and sometimes gives an example and important details about time periods to download the report. An example of this is below;

5. Download Button:

Clicking this button, as stated previously, will download the report.


6. Previous Button:

When there are more reports that the number of entries shown and the user is seeing the second page, this button sends the user back to the first page.


7. Pages and Entries:

This part of the page shows how many pages there are, with the number of entries there will be per page.


8. Next Button:

This button, similar to the “previous” button, is to see the next page.


9. Icons:

  1. Information: This icon shows some useful hints for the user.
  2. This button is to maximize the size of the report page.
